Ms Moey Yoke Lai (Founding Director) has been described as a “mover and shaker” in the education sector. She turned around every school she headed, leaving behind legacies of new facilities and academic achievements. With her passion for character building, she exerted far reaching influence on her students. Presently, she is the Chief Executive Officer of Methodist College Kuala Lumpur. She desires to “sow some BBGS seeds” wherever she goes as she has benefited from her alma mater where Miss Cooke made a great impact on her life. She was the advisor to the BBGS Old Girls’ Association when it was revived in 2009. | |
Ms Yap Sze Peng is currently the CEO of a fund management company and has been actively managing institutional funds for more than 15 years. She began her career in a local bank and was involved in credit assessment of syndicated, corporate as well as high networth loans. She also conducted qualitative and quantitative assessments of investment proposals, valuing both listed and unlisted securities. She received a BSc from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA (distinction) from the University of Stirling. She is also a Certified Financial Planner. | |
Ms Jennifer Cheong, a law graduate from the University of Singapore, was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of both the High Court of Malaya and the Supreme Court of Singapore. A partner in a law firm in Kuala Lumpur, she practised as a litigator in property law,corporate law and business finance/banking before switching to corporate and commercial advisory work. She was also a notary public and a commissioner for oaths and was a member of the Disciplinary Committee panel, Advocates & Solicitors’ Disciplinary Board. Jennifer recently retired from active |
