BBGS

BBGS was one of Kuala Lumpur’s premier schools. BBGS was the oldest school in Kuala Lumpur, surpassing Victoria Institution, Methodist Boy’s School, Convent Bukit Nanas, St John’s Institution and Maxwell School. Initially known as The Chinese Girls’ School, BBGS was established by Miss Betty Langlands in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

BBGS was a great school. The buildings may no longer be there, but the spirit of the school lives on in the hearts and the spirits of the girls. Girls who went on to become great women, each pursuing different life paths, with great passion and love for life and living. BBGS girls are title holders, Pulitzer prize winners, award winners, leaders of industries, heads of companies, actresses, singers, good wives, great wives, wonderful teachers, understanding mothers and women of substance.
